Biography

Ariana Costales-Del Toro is an M.A. student in the English Department at Michigan State University. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a certificate in Women and Gender Studies. Her research interests lie in the representations of Afro-Caribbean religions and practices within literature and how intersecting identities, such as queerness and non-binariness, are represented within the same texts.
