Biography
Yemisrach Mulu Behrane’s artwork explores her perceptions and questions about the past and present world. Through painting and sculpture, Behrane is interested in the transformation that can turn a can of paint, a pile of stone, or a bottle of ink into a magnificent work of art. Behrane is from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts from the Ale School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
