Biography

Gustavo Uriel Ayala is interested in art/design because through visual aesthetics we can reflect on ourselves and the world around us through ways of being shown and not told. By working with oil on canvas and sewing, Ayala processes online images and their consumption. Ayala is from Vincennes, Indiana. He graduated with a BFA in Painting from Herron School of Art & Design, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He also earned an AS in Studio Art from Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana.
